Oscar the silver fox was surrendered to Noah’s Ark as a month old kit in Spring 2014. He came from an out of state breeder who knew the kit would be unsellable because he only had one eye, and wanted the little fox to have a loving, forever home. Oscar was raised with one of the sanctuary’s working dogs, Dublin the German shepherd. Although Dublin is a dog, she was still able to provide baby Oscar with the affection, comfort and socialization he needed as a young, wild canine. Today Oscar lives with the other foxes now that he’s an adult, but he’s is still visited by his friend Dublin at least once a week.
